This morning, my girls are going back to school after a long Christmas time off. Today (5th January) is also the first day they are going to be in school in the New Year. So mommy advised the girls that they should greet their teacher “Happy New Year” at school.
Older girl (Lydia) immediately jumped at mommy and said, “Hey today is not the 1st January to say that”. Mommy replied “I know but today is the first time that you’ll be seeing your teacher so it is ok to say it”. Girls agreed and there they went.
When our children speak their mind, they sound cute and funny…. don’t they?
