Myth bursting story

From a common man to the high-ranking government officials, they believe that India’s special needs children’s best shot to have a home through adoption is through inter-country adoption. Personally to me it is a myth because I have witnessed Indians in India adopting children with special needs. Another misconception that many have is that family have to be affluent to adopt a special needs child.

Well…when you read this story, above stated two myths have been proven wrong. If I may ask, how did people (including people in the government) come to develop this misconception about Indians? How can it be corrected? Write your comments in the ‘comments’ section.
