This month’s edition of Journal of Psychological Bulletin published a study titled “Adoptees do not lack self esteem: A meta-analysis of studies on self-esteem among trans-racial, international and domestic adoptees" done at Lieden University in the Netherlands. This is a brand new article and it is not available on the net for free but they have given some details of the study on the Leiden University’s research section of the web site.
