I have heard from adoption professionals that it takes a child the same number of months that they have been in the orphanage to feel completely comfortable in thier new home. If you have ever moved before you will know the feeling of when the new place felt like it became home and how long it took. The child is not the one intiating the move and have most likely lost everything that they knew or had. So, don't be too concerned if you feel your child doesn't seem to be getting extremely comfortable as fast as you want them to.
