Our daughter the patriot

History was made this week as we got our first AA president. It is great how far our country has come for this to happen. There is some chatter....

on groups about how it would be wonderful to have one of our children who were adopted become president someday. I often wonder what our daughter has in mind as everytime she sees a flag she calls it, "Nana's flag" and she never fails to point it out to me. See also points out, to me, our state flag whenever we pass it. When we go to Wal-Mart she has a good time because they have both flags hanging in the front of the store. We have a children's CD of songs about our country and it has the flag on the front cover. I got it out to play for the kids to learn these songs and when Sananda saw it she just had to hear it. This CD is now one of her favorites to sing along to.
