Living in North America? Mark your calender for September 23rd.

Ministry of Oversees Indian Affairs (MOIA) of the government of India is hosting a mini PBD (Pravasi Bharati Divas - meaning Non Resident Indian or NRI) in New York city on September 23rd (Sunday). This probably will be the largest NRI get-together you'lll ever be part of in the United States of America.

If you have adopted a child from India, know this: Your child is an NRI. If your child is able to understand what adoption is and enjoys being around Indians, you couldn't aks for a better chance than this mini PBD. There are about 2.3 million Indian Americans and even if one half of one percent is expected to attend, that is more than 10,000 people. Great opportunity to make your child feel at home.

Please spread the word among all the adoption related lists, adoption agencies, adoption communities, and adoptive families. If you have any adoption related issues, this is the time to bring it to the notice of the government.

Let's spread the word.
