Social worker (SW) coming to do your home study is not coming to rate your house for it's attractiveness but the appropriateness of your family to take a child in adoption. Don't panic to make your house what it is not. Just be as normal, honest and calm as you possibly can to answer the questions. It is helpful to give a call to the SW in advance to enquire about what is expected and what is not. Some SW interview the couple separately to for consistency.
