Do you know this?

There are approximately 18000 parents registered with CARA, while the number of children in the Government's adoption pool is less 1800.

Adoption gone wrong

Can adoption ever be wrong? For most people it sounds impossible and incomprehensible. Well....for a couple in the United States of America who had house full of boys, that precisely happened. When they adopted two sisters from India (Andhra Pradesh), their lives had changed for ever.

National Public Radio - American public radio is featuring adoptive families this week and they had featured this story. As it is to do with Indian girls, I thought you might be interested. Here is the link to the story: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=12185524

I suggest that you listen to the audio of the interview of the parents (7 min 15 seconds) which you can find right on top of the top image. There's also a video link right below the top image.
