If you're doing inter-country adoption of an infant and travelling alone, request the airlines for bulkhead seat (a small basinette for the first row passengers) for your child to sleep in. Otherwise, your child will have to stay on you for the entire journey which is not comfortable. You need to do this well in advance because the seats are limited and the demand is very high
