Children love water. But your child may not have been exposed to lot of water at the orphanage. Infants may have been given body bath and toddlers washed with a bucket of water. Exposing your child to a lot of water (for exampe tub full of water or shower) must be done gradually lest the child get scared of water. You can begin with playing at your kitchen sink. Open the tap and let the child wet his/ her feet and hands.
