Do you know this?

There are approximately 18000 parents registered with CARA, while the number of children in the Government's adoption pool is less 1800.

Adoption Q & A # 8

I have a biological and an adoptive teenage boys. They fight a lot and they know the status of the adoption. Any help?

Sounds like parents have more problems than the children. Why would you want to solve their problems based on their identity (bio and adoptive)? Children are children and they tend to fight. As an adult, you simply have to understand the merits and the demerits of the conflict and judge them fairly. Bio and adoptive children are not different but unique. Unique in their own personality and character. Nurture them both to be of their own.

In a situation like this, if you feel drawn more towards your biological child, you probably need help.
