It is practically impossible for us to adopt while in the country of our currrent residence and we are considering relocating to India. How soon can we start the process once we are in India?
You're expected to live in India atleast for 12 months before the adoption can be done. I think the pre-adoption process such as home study and police investigation can be done before that time frame.
