Do you know this?

A Walk and a Talk

Easter day, on top of our other activites, we decided to take the family into town for lunch and a walk, we found the Chinese resturant was open so we had the buffet and as we were leaving the lady who was at the register began to ask us....

about Sananda and if she was ours. We were most happy to tell her that yes she is! It was great to have an opportunity to talk about adoption.
We then took the bike trail for a long walk and ended up talking to the kids about perservering hard things as they wanted to quit the trail before we were at our planned ending spot. By the time we had reached the end we were all tired out, and one of us even had a blister, I must admit it was mostly because the child didn't put socks on before we left the house,as asked, and it was too late by the time she told us it hurt, but the walk was well worth the effort and time it took us(not to mention the exercise) as we came across many neat things in nature that we would have missed otherwise, the scenery itself and things we don't see everyday, thankfully, like a nest of about 10 snakes, my middle daughter scared me when she told me I was about to step one, it turned out to only be a dead worm though, guess she was a little anxious about them. Also saw a squirrel, a chipmonk, some cows, some people fishing in the river, and heard a strange noise that I still am not sure what it was. Well, all in all it was a good middle to a great day.
