Scared

I just finished reading the book "Scared" by Tom Davis. It was very hard to read in places, but also had many victorious moments in it and in the end lives are changed.


It opens your eyes in story form of how some orphans struggle so unfairly in life. This book takes you through the unbearable life an orphan child might have with the responsibilites placed on her and the life of a journalist after having been to Africa on a gut wrentching trip once and going back a second time ,on job assignments, how this affects him and what he is able to do to help the children. Even though this story is fictional, it is written after some true circumstances which could easily happen in Africa, India, and elsewhere. If you have time to read I think this book would touch your heart and compel you, as it does me, to want to do more for the orphans who are caught in the evil thros of this world. This may spoil the book for you a little but there is an adoption that takes place!
