There are approximately 18000 parents registered with CARA, while the number of children in the Government's adoption pool is less 1800.

Adoptive kids hit puberty early
There's a research study out of Canda that says that children that are adopted internationally are bound to reach puberty (and other health risks) earlier than their peers that are not adopted. Click here to read the article
