Adoption tip # 34

In India, you must begin your adoption journey with VCA (Voluntary Coordinating Agency) and not with an adoption agency. Here is the reason:

VCA is in charge of several adoption agencies of a particular region (city/ district/ region) and they have individuals representing diverse kinds of backgrounds. VCA works as an intermediary. More number of checks & balances you have, better it is to ensure transperency in the process.
