Why and who should sign this petition?
Indian constitution confers equality to all the citizens of India and the price mandate of CARA to adopt a child doesn’t allow people of lower economic status to have an equal opportunity to adopt in India (read the petition [here] to hear the argument). If you’re convinced that your fellow citizen in India could be helped by this petition, then you need to sign.
Although it is desired for every Indian (with in and outside India) to sign this petition, HOPE House is not advocating Indians alone but Individuals who believe in a “Home” as the best place for the overall development of a child to sign and support this petition.
Anyone’s courage to be part of this petition shouldn’t be misconstrued as an approach of confrontationist but a catalyst.
